how does a computer work?
Some people think that computers are complicated or hard to understand, but we’ve been learning with miss W. And she has shown us a video called ‘Computer hardware in plain english’ now i understand how a computer works and now and i can tell you! Computers pretty much work in the same way. They also have the same hardware. You can also store things on a hardrive like music, documents and pictures and other things. there is also something in a computer its call a RAM meaning Random Access Memory. There is also a processor. The processor makes everything easier or run smoothly.
Re-sizing your widgets
With your widgets sometimes they are too big and you don’t know how to re-size them, well I’m going to tell you now.
Well it is hard to explain ill just show you by writing and telling you what to change.
Well first you should check when you put a widget in the alignments. The alignments are mostly 250 or lower but with the first one do it 160 or less. With the second you should leave it 250. Then its perfect or if you rather close enough!

The chocolate competition
In our literacy class Sarah, Izzy, Jack and I have been working on some chocolate poems. Mine is only a couplet but I like the way it sounds. If you don’t know what a couplet is it’s a two lined poem having to rhyme. My poem is small so I have to draw a picture that is quite bizarre it’s a chocolate being a rocket with and alien I’m a bit crazy sometimes but not as crazy as my sister. My poem is called ‘The couplet for chocolate’
Food is sweet i eat till late
i savour especially choco-late

My Egyptian work in Humanitites
The first question we asked was, Why would the Pharaoh want to be a god? the answer we came up with was. People would be around and do what he said to keep the gods happy.
The secon quetion was. What would the advantages be if people feared you as a leader?
We made some dot points for this question but there weren’t many.

To keep people in order. People would be to afraid to question or to rise up against the pharaoh. Life would be in order and men and women would be in their own place.

Minecraft
Minecraft is an interesting game everything is made out of cubes even the people and you can build things and even make glass. But you can also team up with you friends and talk to them using microphones and headphones. There are these people named Lewis and Simon who put up little clips of them on youtube show how to build things and even fight off creepers and zombies and even skeletons that shoot arrows at you. They have also been trying to save people from a dude called Israphel that has turned Reverend_John evil and they tried to kill them. They had to kill a person called Granny_bacon because she turned into a zombie and tried to kill them with bacon, it was actually really funny because she was locked in a cell and started grunting at them. Last night i had been watching them and they got them selves into a carnival and i think it was Simon that had to challenge strongman_Bruno. In my next post i might put more about it your probably sick of it by now!

My Easter
My Easter was great. I had friends and family there , I also had family friends there it was very interesting when we had the Easter egg hunt! I got heaps but I gave most of them to my little niece Chloe. On the Easter holidays I went to Emily’s shack. it was lots of fun! But most of all it was my family that made it a great Easter we Had lots of laughs. We laughed the most when my niece learnt new words from me, she learnt finger hurts,Auntie Jessica and night night.

A few weeks ago we had a lesson on being cyber safe. There were two women showing us in various plays on different things but with the same concept. Their names were Emily and Rebecca, they were telling us that you should never meet a stranger and never give out credit card details because they might take all your money, and never play too long on online games. It was very interesting it had texting people and saying bad things behind peoples backs.
I liked it i was sitting up the back i didn’t get to see much but i could hear it all!
World maths and spelling day
WORLD MATHS DAY
World maths day was hard but it was pretty easy as well.On world maths day i got 662 points.Maths isn’t my strongest point but I’m still good at it.
I did it at home as well i tryed my hardest and I got a high score im happy about that.
WORLD SPELLING DAY
World spelling day was a little bit harder but at leasti tried my best i think i got on one level 30 games .Idid try to do all of the levels.
